Blank garment, artwork and quantity all affect the final cost. Check the selected product for available decoration methods, or request a quotation for a complete branded order.
An existing blank or your own original fit?
Choose the starting point that fits your collection, budget and development needs.
Customize a catalogue hoodie
Start with a shape you can already see. Compare the garment measurements, available colours and fabric specification, then plan your artwork and branding.
- Useful for a first drop, merchandise or a repeatable core style.
- Select the product’s supported printing or embroidery options.
- Review a sample before committing to a larger order.
Develop a cut-and-sew hoodie
Build from a tech pack, reference garment or design brief when an existing blank does not match the fit or construction you need.
- Define body length, sleeve shape, hood, pockets and trims.
- Review fabric sourcing, colour, washing and size grading.
- Confirm development samples, minimums and production scope.

Choose the feel before the finish.
Fabric weight is a starting point
GSM means grams per square metre of fabric. Compare weight alongside composition, knit construction and finish. A heavier number alone does not tell you how a hoodie will fit, breathe or wash.
Fleece or French terry
Brushed fleece has a raised inner surface; French terry retains visible loops. Consider the intended season, softness, drape and print surface. Check the selected hoodie’s exact composition rather than assuming every style is all cotton.
Fit is in the measurements
Specify regular, oversized, boxy or cropped proportions, then check chest width, body length, sleeve length and shoulder position. Choose a pullover or zip-up around the silhouette you want.
Give the blank its identity.
Match the decoration to your artwork, garment surface and order size. The final method, placement and finish should be checked on the chosen hoodie.

Custom hoodie printing
Screen printing suits defined spot-colour graphics and repeat production. Ask about puff, high-density or other specialty finishes when texture is part of the design.
DTG can suit detailed, multicolour artwork on compatible cotton-rich surfaces. DTF uses a heat-applied transfer and can suit a wider range of fabrics. Feel, stretch and wash results depend on the garment and process.

Embroidery and textured branding
Flat embroidery adds stitched detail to logos and lettering. Chenille, appliqué, embroidered patches and raised effects create different textures and need their own construction review.
Artwork size, stitch density, fabric stability and backing affect the result. Review small lettering, dense fills and placement near pockets or seams before approving a sample.
Process photography illustrates screen printing and embroidery techniques.
Plan front, back and sleeve artwork.
On Studio-enabled hoodies, choose a view and an available decoration method before uploading your design. Review front, back, left sleeve and right sleeve placements against the product’s printable areas.
Leave room around zips, pockets, hood seams and ribbed trims. Include the artwork’s physical width and height in your brief: a screen mockup is a placement guide, while the approved sample confirms the finish.

Check pocket openings, seams and ribbed trims when planning artwork placement.
The brand is in the details.
Bring the garment, decoration and presentation into one private label hoodie brief. Specify the finish your customer should receive, from the neckline to the delivery packaging.

Labels and product information
Discuss woven or printed neck labels, care and composition labels, size identification and hang tags. Include label artwork, dimensions, placement and any information required for your sales market.
Trims, colour and packaging
Confirm drawcords, zips, ribbing, wash references, individual packing and carton requirements. Custom colours and wash effects need agreed references and sample approval.

Custom hoodie questions, answered.
What is the minimum order for custom hoodies?
Minimum quantities depend on the selected hoodie, colour, materials, decoration and private label requirements. Check the product’s quantity options or include your intended size and colour breakdown in a quotation request. Sample ordering and bulk minimums are confirmed separately.
Can I order a sample before a bulk order?
Use the selected product’s sample option where available, or request a development sample quotation for an original style. Review fit, measurements, fabric, colour and decoration before approving the final production reference.
Can you make a hoodie from my own design or tech pack?
You can submit a tech pack, reference garment or design brief for review. Include measurements, size grading, fabric weight and composition, construction details, trims, artwork and labels. Any development work and accepted production scope are confirmed in the quotation.
Which printing or embroidery method should I choose?
The right method depends on fabric composition and finish, artwork detail and colours, placement, quantity and the feel you want. Screen printing, DTG, DTF and embroidery have different preparation and compatibility requirements. Request a sample on the actual garment before approving the finish.
Can I add a logo to the front, back and sleeves?
Placement options depend on the hoodie and decoration method. On Studio-enabled products, review the available front, back and sleeve views and printable areas. Send physical artwork dimensions and check clearance around seams, pockets and zips.
What affects the final hoodie price?
The blank or custom construction, fabric, order quantity, size and colour breakdown, artwork size, printing or stitch requirements, labels, packaging and delivery all affect the quotation. Product sample pricing and quantity pricing can differ.
How are production time, shipping and duties confirmed?
The schedule is reviewed after the specification, quantities, materials, artwork and approvals are defined. Production and transit time are separate. Shipping costs and duties are calculated at checkout or confirmed in the applicable quotation.
What should I send for an accurate quotation?
Include a hoodie reference or tech pack, fabric and fit preferences, quantities by size and colour, artwork files with placement dimensions, labels and packaging, delivery destination and your target date. If something is undecided, tell us what you need help developing.
